2006 Business Builder Workshop - Tue Apr 25

Come to the 2006 Business Builder Workshop!”

A special workshop is being put on by local experts to provide Kamloops and area business owners, senior managers and independent professionals with up-to-date business strategies, tips and advice to help them grow their businesses.

This Second Annual “Business Builder Workshop” will be held on Tuesday, April 25th starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Days Inn in Kamloops.

Topics to be covered include:

1. "Trade Strategies for Entrepreneurs" - How to build your business, lower your overhead and sell your excess time, inventory and capacity at FULL value through trade (or barter). This session is being presented by Desmond Regier from Trade Exchange Canada.

2. "The Three Biggest Marketing Sins Business Owners Make, and How to Avoid Them" Most marketing is ineffective, expensive and boring. David Dubeau from Results Marketing shows how to create a effective marketing strategy that will get more customers in the door, coming more often, and spending more.

3. "Negotiate Your Way to Win-Win" with negotiation specialist, Brent Kisilevich. Attendees will be introduced to methods for engaging people in collaboration, seeing options in resistance, and building agreements that meet the interests of all parties.

Valleyview Lions Club Family Day - Sun May 28

Once again we are having Family Day at the Park in Valleyview. This will be on Sunday, May 28.

We will be starting with a Lions Breakfast and are planning many activities throughout the day.
